Elementary French II · French
The aim of the beginning French sequence (French 1101 and French 1102) is to help you to develop an active command of the language. Emphasis is placed on acquiring the four language skills--listening, speaking, reading and writing--within a cultural context, in order to achieve basic communicative proficiency.
We covered a lot of information in this semester. And I definitely improved in my writing, speaking, listening, and reading skills.
I learned a variety of new vocabulary along with different concepts of the french language. I also was able to work on my pronunciation.
I learned the most in this class compared to any other French class I've taken. Before I came into this course, I could barely create a proper sentence in French with correct grammar. Coming out of it, I feel like I am confident in my ability to write a whole essay in French. I learned how to properly communicate in French, how use proper grammar, and how to listen and read effectively.
Speak better and write using the French tenses.
We learned many new verb tenses and other variations of french
Acquire the basic knowledge of the French language by building on the previous lessons learned in French I and introducing new topics simultaneously.
My language skills really grew in this class. I effectively learned vocabulary and grammar and my speaking skills definitely improved over the course of the semester.
I learned a very important part of French grammar and vocab; imparfait, imperatif, futur simple, and conditionnel. The vocab was mostly related to various spheres of life.+
I made a lot of progress in terms of french grammar.
