I advanced quite a bit in my grammaire skills. I finally figured out how to tell when to use the passe composé compared with the inparfait, when to use the subjonctif, and how not to become completely confused by how much the french use pronouns. I have a long way to go to learn to become fluent, but I think this class helped me a lot to advance towards that goal.
I learned a lot of the advanced French grammar. I liked how some of what we learned in this class was a repetition of what we reviewed in Intermediate I. This way the difficulty of the course increased moderately. I like how there wasn't a super steep difficulty level.

I only took this one class, and found it to be a lot of work to complete all of the assignsments. If I had to take 3 other classes as well (like most everyone else in the class) the workload might have been too much.

I learned about the use of the subjunctive, French culture and politics, and practiced close reading in French.
The class really helped with my understanding of different grammatical concepts.
