I learned how to use several new aspects of French grammar in speaking, reading, writing, and listening.

How to translate in a manor that does not rely on cheap methods (word reference) A better understanding of the many nuances of the french language

This course furthered my understanding of the French language and culture from my experience in 1101. I greatly increased my knowledge of vocabulary as well as several grammatical rules in this language. I particularly appreciated learning more about the different cultures of francophone countries and understanding how these cultures may also impact the language that is used in these areas.

I learned a lot in this course from general French grammar, to reading, to translation skills, to background information on various scholarly works and historical references.

I can finally carry out conversations in french! I learned a lot of vocabulary but mostly grammar rules. I also learned proper ways to pronounce a lot of words in french.

Generally, I feel that I leave this course with a better ability to translate and parse French.

I learned various tenses: present, future and past. I progressed in both my conversational as well as my writing skill in French.

I learned how to translate academic French into English.

I learned how to read, write, and speak French on a higher level after completing French 1101. The course goes more in depth with grammar and the vocabulary is comprised of modern terms. The skills I've acquired allow me to understand the French language on a more advanced level.
