We practiced the grammar we learned in Elementary French and learned a lot of new concepts and vocabulary. We also learned about French/Francophone society and culture.

This was a decently flexible class and the professor would answer questions in a way that makes sense for students with not a ton of background. Introductory French grammar and formulating basic questions and statements.

Grammar, new categories of words (like fiction terminology, environmental vocabulary, etc.), exposure to French film and literature

We covered a lot of information in this semester. And I definitely improved in my writing, speaking, listening, and reading skills.

The main thing that I learned was how to speak French more naturally. We learned a lot of colloquialisms, cultural quirks about the language, pronunciation tips, and general rules about how to sound more like a person and less like a textbook.

I learned a lot more than I thought I would- I didn't expect to get into the past tense so early on! I also learned a lot about French and European culture.

EdBlog is really difficult to use. There's also lot's of lose papers handed out throughout the week. I think it'd be a lot easier if we were just given one packet each week.

More grammar concepts, different tenses of French
