I learned a lot of Spanish grammar and a lot of new vocabulary pertaining to different subjects within each unit. I also learned a lot about Spanish culture including films, poems, and history.
Tons of grammar structures and tenses and about various cultural elements from Latin America and Spain.
This course helped get me back into Spanish after not taking it for a few years. It was effective in improving my conversational skills and confidence in speaking the language.
I learned more about conversational Spanish and how to write, read, and listen with greater comprehension.
I learned how to conjugate spanish verbs in various tenses, express emotions / likes / dislikes, and provide commentary and perspective on various topics ranging from social issues to feminism to art / culture. Overall, this course helped me become more comfortable in producing and understanding Spanish.
This was the first time my spanish speaking skills improved significantly in a course. I learned a bunch of different verb tenses and actually know how to use them. I gained a greater vocabulary and now feel confident to study abroad in Spain.
This class was helpful in improving my listening skills, as we practiced audio exercises often. I also found that my presentation skills improved since we had many presentations.
