I haven't taken Spanish in years, so the first few weeks were challenging, but it was good because it pushed me. I re-learned a lot of what I had forgotten and gained so much more confidence. I now feel comfortable switching between past tense, present, conditional, and future and can actually hold a comfortable conversation. My writing has gotten a lot better and I actually enjoy practicing my Spanish now. I've taken Spanish off and on for years, but I think this has honestly been the best class yet, because I couldn't hide behind 20 other students.

This was the first time my spanish speaking skills improved significantly in a course. I learned a bunch of different verb tenses and actually know how to use them. I gained a greater vocabulary and now feel confident to study abroad in Spain.

How to speak spanish in diifferent subjects. a lot of grammar

Mucho! I feel like this was a very strong semester of Spanish, I feel that my Spanish was both reinforced (from what I had learned in previous semesters), as well as expanded with new verb tenses, general vocabulary, etc.

I learned more about grammar structures and vocabulary in Spanish.

I polished off my knowledge of the Spanish language, learning new tenses, specifically forms of the subjunctive, while explkoring various different units. I also conducted a research project that explored migrant crime issues throughout their journey to Mexico.

Sara Malagon Llano is a great professor, she has a great understanding of what works when teaching Spanish to non-native speakers. I feel confident leaving her class that I can function day to day in a Spanish speaking environment.

The professor was nice and encouraged us to speaking and write a lot in Spanish, but it just isn't very interesting after 3 semesters of the same thing.

Take this class with Profesora Sara Malagon Llano.
