I learned more about conversational Spanish and how to write, read, and listen with greater comprehension.

We learned new conjugations including the future tense and the subjunctive while also learning about the cultural significance of Spanish in New York City. We learned a lot of new vocabulary words along with many new grammar rules.

This is a great course for anyone with a intermediate skill for spanish to expand on interesting topics for daily use. This includes subjuctive, vocab, and more.

The present perfect, expressing gradual increase/ decrease time clauses with cuando. Stating, negating, and expressing certainty with the indicative/ subjunctive.

In terms of grammar for this course, I learned how to speak about different events in the past, from using the preterite, imperfect, and past perfect. Also how to turn speech into reported speech, meaning taking what someone or something said and talking about it in a past manner. Also how to use the imperfect subjunctive when expressing wishes and desires and also used in reported speech. Along with talking about hypothetical events, emotions, advice, etc. Vocabulary about history, social media, cultures and traditions, and social media.
