Marketing essentials, interesting case studies.
This class was supposed to go over the basics of how to create a marketing campaign and different ways to market a variety of goods. The class is also supposed to build the skill of looking at case studies and analyzing them through a marketing lens. The class didn't really teach much of this, it more just presented some examples of successful marketing campaigns in the past.
marketing basics, with relevant examples from the real world and brands
I learned the basics of marketing, as well as perspectives from guest speakers brought in on many Wednesdays.
It is a fun course where you get to select a brand to do a project on.
The class was very straightforward and not difficult. The case studies and guest speakers were interesting but not much else, so if you're looking for a super engaging class that will really teach you the ins and outs of marketing then maybe save that class for business school.
Loved the teacher, the way she taught and how in depth the lectures and assignments were
