basic GIS skills and how to work with Esri software
I learned a lot about using Arc GIS pro as well as Arc GIS and also learned about handling large datasets. I learned how to think quantitatively and use quantitative skills for analysis rather than language.
I learned a lot about spatial analysis and general GIS basics.
Everything that I learned was new– I had no exposure to GIS and I feel like I understand how to navigate the platform fairly well now and could learn further with this base knowledge without struggling with the basics.
How to use ArcGIS; spatial analysis theory; cartography and map design skills. Super helpful for other classes and research.
Honeslty can't exactly say what I learned... But generally taught about GIS and GIS theory.
How to effectively use Arcgis pro and Arcgis web. It was really interesting to learn how to handle and manipulate data using these tools
I would not recommend to anyone who doesn't already have an interest in geography, mapping, or GIS in general.
About vector/raster/types of data used, how to manipulate, how to display in the ARCGIS program, familiarity within the program
I learned a lot about GIS, such as how to plan a project, a lot of the theoretical underpinnings of GIS, and how to use ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online
