I developed my Greek language reading, writing, and speaking. This course helped me develop a much better understanding of the language as a whole, while also allowing me to gain an appreciation Greek culture. ­ Ελληνικά Β’ textbook chapters 1-10: this course had a critical focus on grammar (direct/indirect pronouns, noun/adjective declensions, & simple/continuous past tense), a mix of vocabulary themes (technology, homes/apartments, transportation, clothes/shopping, food/drink/dining, weather, & the environment), & some very engaging historical/cultural additions such as discussions on katharevousa vs. demotic greek, the greek junta regime, gender in greek language/society, etc.
