This course taught me the basics of Latin grammar, and also a great deal about English grammar that goes unnoticed until you contrast it with other languages.
I learned the first, second, and third declension of Latin nouns, conjugations of verbs in the 1st through 4th conjugations, lots of Latin vocab, and Latin grammar/syntax.

She doesn't assign too much homework.. nonetheless, A LOT of studying is required, especially if you've never seen any Latin before. The class moves VERY quickly. 2 midterms (20% each) and a final (40%). The remaining 20% is class participation, attendance, and quizzes - an easy 20% as long as you go to class everyday.
medium-heavy. Weekly quizes (trust me, these are REALLY helpful, though a pain) one light mid-term and a longer final. Everything is cumulative so be prepared. Also, get ready for a steady, unrelenting pace. Just keep telling yourself that you can do it, keep up on the vocab and reading, and you'll be fine.
