We learnt how to write a thesis, give an academic presentation, make an academic poster etc.
Explored various aspects of life as a scientist.
I learned how to organize a research paper.
I learned a huge amount about research in completing my thesis. Through the seminar, I learned techniques, strategies and gained support of peers.
I learned about the research and writing process.
The thesis was a very fulfilling part of my degree, that was much less intimidating because of the senior seminar and the support we were given there.
Its a required class so Im not sure this is relevant.
I would recommend this course to anyone wondering about a career in academia.
