How much carbon we've used in professor kelemen's lifetime...
Lots of knowledge about earth resources. I had no previous knowledge about any of the topics we saw in class, but no I feel much more informed.
I learned about geological processes and the possibility of maintenance of earth resources.
Interpreting scientific data and addressing complex problems.
Learned a lot about minerals, where they're found and what they're used for. More of a focus on the resources, not the environmental impact of/by these uses.
I learned a lot in this class. All about earths resources.
I learned a lot about earth resources, such as fossil fuels, various metals, soils, etc. It is a very good class that is really quantitative. Most classes I have had focused a lot on your ability to create sophisticated arguments while here the focus is on finding, reviewing and interpreting data.
earth resources, fossil fuels, minerals, rare earth minerals
I learned about the geology of natural resources and methods used to extract them. We also covered some political and economic implications of resource extraction and depletion. I learned about the main types of resources that are important to humans and the economy, and what needs to be done to preserve them.
I learned how natural resources are formed, extracted, and commodified and the costs--socially, economically, and environmentally--of using these resources.
