A lot about Dinosaurs and how life first started. It was hard to grasp what was important information until the final month of class, but once I got that it became a lot easier to follow the lectures. We learn a lot about cladograms and the various characteristics that define certain dinosaurs.
I learned a lot about dinosaurs and their evolution. I learned about deductive reasoning and research skills.
The history of dinosaurs such as their evolution from the beginning, physiology, metabolism, brain structure etc. I also have never written a 10 page paper until now or have done such vast scientific research.
You learn a lot of specific groups of dinosaurs, how they are related to each other, and what features differentiate them from each other as well as the larger principles of evolution and reconstructing information about extinct species
This course not only goes in-depth into dinosaurs and everything that there is to know about them in an introductory level class, but also a general overview of science and the history of life. It really gave me a perspective of time. I also really appreciate that he shows how we have come to learn about dinosaurs and the history of this.
