Basic python, matplotlib, pandas, xarray, cartopy
processing and visualizing environmental data using Python. Could computing, working with Github and modelling data in HPC
I learned how to use a lot of Python packages that I had either limited or no knowledge about before - in particular, Xarray, Cartopy, Pandas, and hvplot. I got experience analyzing Earth science data in the form of netCDF files and got a lot better at taking advantage of the powerful functions in these packages to do things I either wouldn't have been able to do before or that would have taken me much longer before.
I learned the fundamentals of python and how to use Jupyter Lab to visualize Earth data and make computations. I also learned how to use GitHub.
I learned basic Python for data analysis, which is exactly what I wanted from this class
I learnt to manipulate geospatial data in different formats, make plots and maps from them and different computational analysis.

I definitely recommend this class to students who have little to no coding experience and would like to learn basic Python
