Hannah Kaplan was an excellent instructor: we began the course with key nonfiction works that promoted conversations about the genre, modes of writing, and connecting as a class to have a good discussion. Then, it was time to workshop. Workshop was excellent and our class was able to interact with so much respect but also many laughs and constructive comments on peers' works. The feedback that Kaplan gave me was always considerate, incredibly thoughtful, and really did help my writing and my writing process improve. She was also clearly available to chat about any questions I may have at any point (even the previous workshopped paper).
