I learned how to converse in Italian about culture, art, and music through trips and excursions. We visited the Met Museum and took a tour in Italian that I really enjoyed and even got to see Tosca at the met Opera. It really helped my understanding of Italian art and were the highlight of my experience in her class.
The class helped me build confidence in my language skills and made me a great presenter.
I reviewed important grammar questions I had once studied but mostly forgotten, Italian idioms and even oral culture aspects like non-verbal communication (which is very important in this language!). Additionally, class readings covered topics about society and arts, so I learned about that too.
If you want to improve your conversational Italian and learn how to communicate in a more real-world context, I highly recommend!
