Italian Language: New verbs, vocab, and many other things.
Most of the tenses used in Italian and more basic vocabulary
15% hw, 10% attendance, 20% quizzes, 15% competitions, 15% midterm, 15% final, 10% project. homework assigned every class, sometimes more tedious than others but never too difficult.
We reviewed many of the important standard tenses (imperfect, passato prossimo, future, indicative, etc.) and learned some new (subjunctive, etc.). Overall this course covers a lot of material very quickly and creates a strong base layer of knowledge of Italian.
This course was essential in teaching foundational aspects of Italian grammar. Past tense, future tense, subjunctive, and their respective moods were covered.
Lots of LingroLearning every week (not fun), roughly 4 quizzes and 4 compositions, one midterm and one final (usually a final project).
Fair. Because it is a language course, you will have homework due every class. But is is solely graded on completion. There are about four quizzes (announced and with a study guide), a midterm and a final. There is also one oral presentation where you can speak about any topic you want for 5 minutes.
We had four quizzes, one which dropped, five short writings, one midterm, one final, one presentation, and online practice problems before each quiz.
Daily homework assignments that are posted to Courseworks but they're only due every two weeks, a quiz and composition of only 150 words also due every two weeks. Extremely manageable
