i took tri vi for both corporate finance and money and banking. if you're interested in an easy class, this is definitely for you. tri vi reads off his slides, so not going to class and reading the slides at home would be proficient. his midterms and finals are 75% like the practice exams (he tells you what a majority of the questions will be like) with about 25% being tricky questions that are a bit difficult to solve. that said, his class is definitely fair! his psets are a bit difficult, but the tas are helpful as well. my only qualm with the class is that if you are interested in actually learning corporate finance (in preparation for ib recruiting or something) i would probably take haran's (the other corp fin teacher) class. we spent the first half of the semester learning about arbitrage and trading, and skimming over relevant corp fin stuff like dcfs in the latter part of the semester. but, if that doesn't matter to you, then i definitely recommend this class!

This course offered a comprehensive introduction to corporate finance concepts, including valuation and pricing, portfolio theory, and no-arbitrage strategy.

I learned a lot of about PE & HF investing quite literally across the entire financial system.

I haven't taken too many Econ electives yet, but this is one of my top 3 econ classes so far at Columbia. The format of this class worked perfectly over zoom, since Tri Vi posts his slides ahead of time, and then explains and adds to them during class. He's a super clear lecturer and his slides are also super clear. It may seem like you can skip class due to how comprehensive the slides are, but I don't recommend it because Tri Vi adds important details and clarifications, and also interesting examples. I only went to the TA named Bozidar, but he was incredibly helpful for tricky homework problems. What impressed me the most about this class was how invested Tri Vi was in the success of his students in office hours. He makes plenty of time each week for questions/concerns during office hours and makes sure that every student got their questions answered. I'm sure you could have a good experience if you don't engage further in the material than just going to class, but if you need help at all or just want to learn more about a specific topic in the class, office hours make all the difference. 10/10 class, I would definitely recommend.
