The economics, business and ethical implications and issues involved in owning/operating a sports team, stadium, league and related industries.

We had weekly readings which were fairly light, no longer than an hour - 1.5 per week; paper proposal took a while to research but it's very doable; first draft takes a while but again you get the entire semester to think about it and it's just a benchmark submission so you're not doing the whole 20 pages in the last few days before the final deadline; presentation on your rough draft is just talking about what you've done for the first draft; time for the final draft of the paper will probably vary, but it's nothing out of the ordinary for a Columbia course
