Courses Isaac Bjorke teaches

What students said

ECON UN3211 · Spring 2025

Consumer and producer theory, different types of markets and their equilibrium

ECON W1105 · Spring 2025

Quizzes, midterms x2, and finals. Midterms are basically the same as quiz material so just study and you'll be fine. Same goes for the final. Isaac isn't trying to trick anyone and it shows. Go to OH with questions and he'll explain it very well. Sometimes quizzes were confusing but you can work together with peers. Note that quizzes are not dropped so you can't really mess up but Isaac is willing to clarify.

FAL L2024 · Fall 2024

Basics of Econ - nothing too exciting or difficult.

ECON GR5410 · Fall 2023

Math needed to support learning in other subjects such as macro and micro economics

ECON UN3211 · Spring 2025

Foundations of microeconomics, consumer and producer marshallian and hicksian demand

ECON W1105 · Spring 2025

Isaac is a nearly perfect professor. He is clearly incredibly passionate and well-versed on the topic. Lectures are never boring and a joy to attend. Can't believe I'm saying this but I wholeheartedly looked forward to his classes. Grading is sometimes annoying but Isaac was always ready to adjust if deemed illogical. For a principles class, this was a great overview and has convinced me to take more econ classes! A true gem of a professor. Take principles with Isaac.

FAL L2024 · Fall 2024

Supply/demand, basic game theory, markets, production functions

ECON GR5410 · Fall 2023

Lagrange, measure theory, matrix, continuity, limit.... very useful to calculate the econ problems.

ECON GU4911 · Spring 2023

Good seminar that doesnt pose unfair expectations from the final paper; effort to actually teach behavioral theory before delving into research requirements

ECON UN3211 · Spring 2025

Great demonstration of economic intuition from the maths.
