CHEM UN2443 · Spring 2021

A lot of orgo. How to go about solving problems from the ingredients

CHEM UN2443 · Spring 2021

A little bit of 3D organic chemical structures and interaction - A list of reactions and their mechanisms

CHEM UN2443 · Spring 2021

Organic Chemistry I Resonance Arrow Pushing Elimination Reactions Substitution Reactions Synthesis

CHEM UN2443 · Spring 2021

Orbitals, bonding, reactions (substitution, elimination), aromatics, etc.

CHEM UN2443 · Spring 2021

Organic chemistry is already infamously difficult. Taking this class online is a terrible idea

CHEM UN2443 · Spring 2021

This is not a good course for learning orgo. The syllabus jumps around from chapter to chapter in a way that is unnecessarily confusing (start with 4, then 9, then back to 1 and 2, then to 15, then 6). The professor tests on material we have not learned yet on exams, then says "if you didn't understand the questions about ___, don't worry, because we're learning it next week." It's like he has no idea where in the syllabus he is. Definitely do not recommend this professor, especially not online.

CHEM UN2443 · Spring 2021

I believe the strength of a chemist lies in their ability to analyze every aspect of a chemical reaction using sound reasoning. I would highly recommend that much focus is initially towards the several possible mechanisms one might think of and then explaining why all fall short but one. Since in the exams we're faced with a wide range of possibilities when problem solving then it's critical to understand why a specific reaction mechanism might happen and why the rest are not possible (at least the present problem)

CHEM UN2443 · Spring 2021

I'm taking this course for the second time and did awful the first time but I feel like I learned a lot more in this course!
