I further improved my Kiswahili speaking and reading skills this semester. I also learned about important people in the East African context including Mwalimu Julius Nyerere and Abdilatif Abdalla.
If you want to strengthen your swahili, this class is the best that you can find.
Would definitely recommend to those who can read and speak Swahili relatively well. I learned a lot about East African culture, current events, and language. I improved my ability to speak greatly, and I saw tremendous improvement in my ability to read complex literature in Kiswahili, improving my vocabulary and context usage. I also enjoyed learning new idioms.
