What students said

Ha Nguyen · 2025 · 2025

Basics of statistics: mean, standard deviation, normal distribution, confidence intervals, that sorta thing

Anthony Donoghue · 2021 · 2021

I'm still in the process of knowing what I learned since there's a lot of material for the finals, and they are complex.

David Rios · 2024 · 2024

I did not really learn much in this course.

Ronald Neath · 2023 · 2023

Many useful hypothesis testing. SUPER useful in real life! Love this course so much, Professor Neath is excellent.

Wayne Lee · 2023 · 2023

I learned a new way to introduce statistical thinking into everyday life and my future career. The implementation of stats and the reasoning behind the math was important to the professor.

Cristian Pasarica · 2022 · 2022

I learned some stuff about statistics and statistical tests.

Banu Baydil · 2024 · 2024

Probability, Graphs & Charts & Representations, Hypothesis Testing, Inferential Statistics, Sampling Distributions

Georgios Fellouris · 2009 · 2009

About 10 problems per week and a midterm and final.

Yuanjia Wang · 2003 · 2003

What the previous reviewer said is true. I did not end up attending class because it was just impossible to understand anything. And in answering questions, her responses didn't always address what was asked. Very disappointed with the class overall because all I learned was to plug numbers into formulas found in the book.

Alan Yang · 2013 · 2013

Workload is decent. One problem set a week. One midterm and an endterm.
