What students said

STAT GR5203 · Spring 2024

I learned so much about probability concepts, and the advanced math behind probability functions.

STAT GU4203 · Spring 2024

Biweekly homeworks, 2 midterms and a final. Curving is generous

STAT UN1101 · Spring 2024

I did not really learn much in this course.

STAT GR5291 · Spring 2023

did not learn that much in this class. almost waste of time.

STAT UN1201 · Spring 2021

Nice and funny professor, though I don't know if one could take this class without prior experience with statistics. He's very chill (maybe too chill) and I don't think anyone would have a problem with him. That being said, if the concepts are new, I'd expect outside reading in addition to his notes to learn more. He also made sure not to talk too fast. He also liked to show us his dogs via Zoom video, Zoom backgrounds, and problem questions.

STAT GR5203 · Spring 2024

Stuff that I learned in Stats Based Calc but much harder

STAT GU4203 · Spring 2024

As a person, he's very nice but as a lecturer, he's very disorganized. There's a decent chunk of content in his homework that is not covered in the lecture and he'll take a while to post the notes we need to solve it. Even then, the notes don't do enough to cover the content we need to actually complete the work. His curving is fair but I don't think you'll walk away with the class satisfied that you've learned the fundamentals of probability theory in sufficient detail.

STAT UN1101 · Spring 2024

I did not learn a lot from my professor unfortunately. Instead of teaching us the material, he would just write a lot of statistics on the board and then expect us to know what he had just written without saying anything to accompany his writing. I had to learn most of the material online, from khan academy, and from the textbook.

STAT GR5291 · Spring 2023

A lot of reviews from my previous classes, including regressions, hypothesis testing, ANOVA test, etc.

STAT GR5398 · Spring 2022

How to behave when dealing with statistical analysis.
