The three foundational classics accompany us in the first part of the course and we go into the micro-analysis with Dubois (which I really appreciate we include him),Simmel and Goffman. Reading these masterpieces is a pleasure to me and the assignments as well as the discussions offer the opportunities to reflect on them, especially in today's context, and teach me to consider classic theories in a historically context and should not ever position them in an apodeictic ground.
I learned a lot. I learned the foundations of theory but also became skilled at applying my learnings to modern issues.
