History and Practice of Electronic Music · Music
As the title of the class denotes, this is a history of electronic music class and we were taken back to the beginnings of EM in an interesting way using media in the form of tracks, videos, documentaries, instruments, etc. I learned so much that shattered my notion of what I thought EM was and am feeling so much more informed and knowledgeable on the subject.
I learned how to use music production software at an amateur level and about the history of the electronic genre through gendered, technological, and other lenses.
I learned so much and it didn't even feel like school. Super interesting and he allows the students to let their creativity and curiosity lead the course content.
Didn't honestly learn much besides relatively vague instructions on "how to listen". TA guided us through how to find your community for whatever form of art you may want to pursue which was valuable advice.

I learned so much in this class, which has taken me to the depths of Weiner library.
As the title of the course reads, you will both learn about history and some practice of electronic music, with a good balance between the two.
