Maybe just cover topics different topics of vocab every week - so that we work on both vocab and grammer in class.
If you want to learn more persian, or need to fulfill your language requirement, this isn't a bad course to take! Generally have lots of conversations in class about various topics which helps with learning oral persian. Also spend time going over the textbooks and doing drills which can help for quizzes/exams.

I was able to gain a better understanding of the Persian language through this course, especially with grammar and overall communication skills. I appreciate Columbia for offering Persian courses, as in my previous institution, I did not have the opportunity to learn languages as rich and beautiful as Persian. If you have a chance, take this course to improve your Persian!
