I learned more grammar constructions and expanded my vocabulary
This course was a very flexible yet effective Hindi education experience. I found that my speaking and listening skills improved far quicker than my reading and writing skills this semester--which I found quite nice considering that I felt the opposite the previous semester. I learned how to better apply grammatical structures that I was struggling with in the past. I appreciated how the class was flexibly structured around discussion and presentation on whatever relevant event or topic was on the table that day. That type of structure helped me translate relevant information into Hindi, rather than textbook material that I would rarely use on a day-to-day basis. As a result, I find that I speak better Hindi now as it pertains to my own life.
