I learned how to read, write, and speak Turkish at an elementary level. Personally, I have learned how to hold a conversation in Turkish and answer questions, while also gaining the vocabulary and grammar skills that have allowed me to read Turkish news at a basic level and understand Turkish music lyrics.

It's a lot of work. Be prepared to be super present in class and do a lot of speaking. If you're ready to put in the work and have set time aside to dedicate to this class, then do it. But if there are other aspects of your life that are overwhelming you, maybe don't. I got a bit stressed out about the class even though I liked it.
