I improved my Hebrew writing skills, speaking skills, as well as reading skills. I also learned a lot about Israeli culture.

I learned a lot about the experiences of different people in Israel and learned a lot of vocabulary.

I learned a lot about Israeli society that I have never known, because as an American Jew, I don't usually hear about the internal dynamics; just dynamics of relations with Palestinians. I got a good bit of Hebrew practice. Read interesting stories.

I think plenty of students would get something out of this course, but I don't actually know what it's satisfying in this modality. I just think people should know that its workload is decent; it's a decent tradeoff, if you want the language practice. I improved my Hebrew vocabulary, writing and typing skills, and learned new perspectives on Israeli society and ethnic/social groups within Israel.

It's a good class if you speak Hebrew well, but it's not your native language and you want to improve your speaking and writing skills.
