skipped ( this is discussion section and already reviewed the actual course)
This course really helped me to better understand the primary sources.
To look at history from a different aspect and to question everything.
I learned how to get better at reading in between the lines and diving in primary source materials in order to explore greater questions about history.
Speaking in front of a discussion section and participating is a good skill to practice
Section was a very good tool for turning concepts from lecture into hands on practice.
How to speak about the texts we've read for the lecture and to connect it to the real world
I learned how to read about South Asian history and understand the narratives under it
Learned about readings pertinent to the course.
Through this discussion section I was able to fully grasps texts and materials that were at first appearance, impossible. This class facilitated the completion of our weekly assignments, and turned was what was initially and arduous chore into fascinating discussions and easily completable analyses. Even more so than the class itself, I learned how to better approach primary resources and interpret them effectively from a broad range of perspectives.
