Intermediate French I · French
The homework is really lengthy and tedious, but doing all of the assignments will give you a solid grip on the concepts and if you already understand the material there is a lot of leway to skip certain parts of the homework. That being said I would spend 2-3 per assignment hours on this class and that isn't an uncommon experience from what I've heard.
2 quizzes (just review all the notes she gave out and the exercises she assigned in her hws and you will be fine), a pretty straighforward midterm and a final. Also three compositions that you can revise and homework that I would recommend doing as it helps you remember all the grammar rules and not to confuse them.

3 quizzes, 3 compositions (with revisions), midterm, and final. Participation is also counted.
Daily homework (5-10 min), attendence is worth a portion of your grade. Really very little.
Workbook due weekly, occassional essays, tests, mid-term, and final. She's very understanding around mid-term and final time. You can re- submit your essays for a new grade, and she grades the workbooks loosely. Class participation is a must.
3 tests, final project, final exam, 3 compositions (400 words)
The usual for the course: daily exercise assignments in the workbook and/or readings in the text. Tests every 2/3 were hard, but they're not a huge part of your grade.
Quizzes, Short reaction papers, Some lit reading, homework - but I'm not sure what that counted for.
A bit of work, but worth it for the French you'll learn (if you care)
