Elementary French II · French
The aim of the beginning French sequence (French 1101 and French 1102) is to help you to develop an active command of the language. Emphasis is placed on acquiring the four language skills--listening, speaking, reading and writing--within a cultural context, in order to achieve basic communicative proficiency.
I learned new French tenses like past, future, subjunctive and vocabulary applicable to different speaking situations.

I learned an incredible amount of vocab and grammar this semester. Monsieur was always incredibly informative, caring, and helpful throughout the course.
I learned certain conjugation skills and developed better writing and oral speaking skills.
I think the professors I had in 1101 last spring and 1102 this fall were a huge reason why I enjoyed the course so much so I would recommend that if they want to take it, they should take it with Samuel Skippon and eric Matheis. Also, I would ask if they are good at acquiring languages in general.
