This course gave a broad exposure to papers relevant to IO, I learned several computational and estimation methods. The problem set was useful to gain coding skills and learn to apply what we did in class.
I was introduced to several structural model estimation strategies throught the recommended readings. I was also given a guided implementation of such a structural model for one paper in particular.
I think anyone who is both interested in IO and is well-versed with Bellmans and structural models will really enjoy this course. I learnt dynamic structural models throughout the semester.
Dynamic models in industrial organization, from single agent to oligopoly; challenges such as the curse of dimensionality, and attempts at getting around them.

Dynamic IO models: Rust, Hotz-Miller, dynamic oligopoly models, dynamic learning...
For someone interested in research in IO, this is a must take class. +Gautam is a great instructor, the teaching is easy to follow, and the homework is heavy but super useful.
