I learned how to speak Dutch at an elementary level

The fundamentals of how to read, write, and speak Dutch.

I learned how to ask and answer simple questions in Dutch. I also learned how to speak in the present perfect, as well as information on Dutch culture and speaking. I learned how Dutch is structured and miscellaneous vocabulary.

I learned so much about speaking Dutch - applicable, daily conversation items that are used constantly. If I ever had a question, Pieter was quick to answer and explain how phrases and words could be used in conversation.

I learned vocabulary and verb conjugation in present and present perfect. We learned to present each other. We learned to describe people, to describe rooms, and to describe places. We learned to shop food and to rent a house. We also learned to tell time and say what we have done during the day.

This course provided a very comprehensive introduction to Dutch. We learned verbs, vocabulary, grammar, and aspects of Dutch and Belgian culture. I developed speaking and reading skills, which was facilitated by Pieter's excellent teaching.

Dutch has been a blast to get to learn as the class size is just right and each class always has lots of fun activities
