I learned a great deal with regard to semiotics, 18th and 19th century history, and how important philosophers approached the matters of aesthetics and history. Learning how to read Kant was the greatest challenge and most rewarding thing that I learned.
I learned about some of the most important philosophers on aesthetics and philosophy of history. A cursory look into the broad fields.
Especially for those interested in intellectual history
If you are a student who has a very good general grasp on 18th/19th century continental philosophy and is especially interested in aesthetics in the German context, I would say this class is quite helpful.
