Professor Li was one of my highlights of a difficult Spring 2024 semester. He taught hard, made us sweat like hell over HW and his tests but honestly it's great that I took ODE with him. He failed nobody curved generously but it was HARD. I'd defo take another class w him but not everyone would say the same; he's a postdoc with great passion for hard stuff and thought everyone had a strong math background. Alas, will miss him!

1st-order linear ODE (integrating factor, separability), 2nd-order linear ODE (constant coefficients, homogeneous, undetermined coefficients, variation of parameters, reduction of order), some generalization to nth-order linear ODEs, Laplace Transforms, Step Function, basic introduction to Fourier Series and Heat Equation
Traditional calculus one material. Starts with limits end with integrals.
I furthered my foundation of calculus in this course.
Solving 1st, 2nd, higher order ODEs. Laplace transform, series expansion etc.
A lot of calc-related theory which I did not learn during high school.
I learned how to solve first, second, and higher order ODEs, how to do laplace transforms and how to find pwoer series solutions for linear, non-linear, homogeneous and nonhomogeneous ODEs.
Learned about the foundations of ODE which brings in a lot of linear algebra concepts. Learned about some proofs and the application of theorems.
