MATH V1201 · Summer 2025

- two online homework assignments every week, will drop the lowest homework assignment - two midterms and one final (if you bomb one midterm, he'll drop it and make the final worth more instead) - one longer written homework every few weeks - curves your grade at the very end, doesn't curve each exam

MATH UN2010 · Spring 2024

Covers all aspects of linear algebra from matrix denormilization and eigenvalues etc.

MATH V1201 · Summer 2025

He's a really good and clear professor. I'm not really a math person but I understood all the concepts very well, and he also uploads neat, clear, and concise notes before every class. I'd say his exams are pretty straightforward--there aren't many curveballs or trick questions and the level of difficulty on all the exams are pretty consistent. Definitely take his class if you can!!!

MATH GU4051 · Fall 2024

Metric topology and some algebraic topology. We followed Munkres pretty closely.

MATH UN2010 · Spring 2024

I learned all the important fundamentals of linear algebra, as well as their applications and more difficult concepts related to these more basic topics.

MATH UN1101 · Spring 2023

In the beginning we learned pre-calculus work, and then we learned about derivatives, limits, and other calculus materials.

MATH V1201 · Summer 2025

His homeworks are pretty fair, 2-3 a week on webassign and then 1 assignment every 2 or so weeks. The assignments aren't proofs mostly and the extra credit isn't always ridiculously hard, it's not hard to get good grades on that side. Since his exams cover a lot, they're LONG and usually decently difficult. Usually 7-9 questions with a couple parts each and then extra credit, out of 40-50 points each exam without extra. Considering that you only get 1hr and a half, I personally struggled to fully finish his exams. Also, he does NOT curve at all. OK, he doesn't have to, but considering the average is always like a 60-75... it'd be nice. He does allow cheat sheets, but you'll barely get a chance to look at it, and it being 3 pages for the final should tell you enough. I think I can tell who the people below glazing this class before the final are, it's not an easy class especially not an easy Calculus III considering the other prof options. But he is good at explaining math and clearly loves math, not that he made ME love math.

MATH GU4051 · Fall 2024

general topology, a couple of weeks of algebraic topology.

MATH UN2010 · Spring 2024

Matrices, vector spaces, linear transformations, eigenvalues and eigenvectors, canonical forms, applications. (SC)

MATH UN1101 · Spring 2023

I learned functions and limits all the way to FTOC and integration. I learned the apply the skills given in class and struggle through math problems for the benefit of my understanding
