I learned a lot of new grammar and sentence constructions and got much better at speaking in German,

I learned a lot of things about Berlin. I also gained the skills to read a whole novel in German.

I learned that German is so hard with grammar. However I really expanded my vocabulary, sentence structure and conversational skills.

I learned more about the history of Berlin.

I learned the basics of German grammar, an introductory set of vocabulary, and basic reading, writing, speaking and listening skills. We also talked about differences between German and American culture and living habits.

Definitely take this course if you want to keep up with your German.

Choose a different instructor and don't pick the earliest section, because your classmates will not show up, and the professor will have to re-teach things perhaps three times in a row.

I recommend this class because the workload is manageable and broken down into small bits. Professor Weber is also so nice and patient.

As is with many other languages, engagement with/ exposure to the language outside any class-related assignments is also important.

Nothing wrong with the professor, just the courses difficulty
