I learned a lot in terms of conducting an experiment. I learned the differences between correlational studies, experimental studies, quasi-experimental studies, as well as forming hypotheses. I also learned about interactions which were very interesting.

This course is a very surface-level survey course. It touched on main areas of interest across various topics in Psychology. We also covered the basics of research methods.

In professor's Giebl class, I acquire essential skills and knowledge, including understanding proper research study approach, different research methods, and critical thinking as researchers. Beyond these fundamentals, I also learn research design, data collection techniques, sampling methods, data analysis, and ethical considerations. I gained expertise in conducting literature reviews, writing research proposals, and effectively communicating findings through data visualization and presentation skills.

I learned how to learn in this course, which I think is super valuable and I learned a lot about various forms of psychology and how to think and what goes on in the mind. I never took psychology in high school so this was a great experience.

I learned a great deal from this course. The structure of the course was well planned and made it an easy and stress-free environment to learn. The professor was very considerate to all students in terms of their individual ability to grasp sometimes difficult material and presented the material in a fun and exciting way. We learned how to conduct experiments, critique past experiments, review scientific literature and more.
