PSYC UN3623 · Spring 2026

I learned a lot about mindfulness and DBT practices/therapies.

PSYC UN3623 · Spring 2026

This class was very disrupted by the professor leaving for 8 weeks without an explanation. The substitute teacher prof Isacoff was amazing though. Everyone loved her. She tried her best to cover the gaps. Professor Cohen also instructed us to make a literature review in a format that is incorrect in a lot of ways when I compare it with what I learned in research methods and other courses that taught us how to write scientific text.

PSYC UN3623 · Spring 2026

I learned about DBT, ACT, MBSR, and a variety of mindfulness based exercises.

PSYC UN3623 · Spring 2026

Note: prof missed about 7 weeks of the course and was overtaken by Nora Isacoff, who was great.

PSYC UN3623 · Spring 2026

Although this is an easy A, I can't in good faith recommend anyone take this class with Cohen. An 8 week disappearance makes me feel like the 4 credit/s$8,752 was wasted

I learned a lot about mindfulness therapies used in clinical settings, including ACT and DBT.

PSYC UN3623 · Spring 2026

This course thoroughly taught me about the clinical use and structure of mindfulness-based therapies. It touched upon the appropriation of mindfulness with discussions about the benefits and limitations that exist within them.
