ECON GU4415 · Spring 2024

A comprehensive(more comprehensive than the one found on oyc.yale.edu) yet fast-paced(missing derivations in slides requires your working out the intermediate steps yourself) tour through game theory plus a glimpse into mechanism design and auction theory.

ECON GR6211 · Fall 2021

I learnt a lot about the applicability of mostly abstract theoretical tools I had seen in my previous classes (especially in part 1 of the course). Prof. Chiappori spoke a lot about empirically seeing if the observed demand inddeed comes from prefernce maximization behavior (using the slutsky). I really liked the first part. I also loved the problem sets and seeing the second welfare theorem work in specific settings... In the second part, I particularly enjoyed learning GE. I feel like my math got stronger...

ECON GU4415 · Spring 2024

Introductions to game theory concepts such as Nash Equilibrium, Cournot and Bertrand models, applications to competition and strategy.

ECON GR5410 · Fall 2021

Various advanced math tools; real analysis, measure theory

ECON GR6211 · Fall 2021

We learnt a wide range of topics in microeconomics, ranging from consumer theory, economics under uncertainty to general equilibrium and game theory.

ECON GU4415 · Spring 2024

This is a super theoretical class, and I learned more than I expected of real-analysis type math.
