So much content. Learned a huge amount of information in both micro and macro. Class helped to digest information and apply it.

In this course we learned the basics of economics. The first half of the semester is focused on the basics of Microeconomics and the second half on the basics of Macroeconomics.

Much knowledge about how the economy ties into the state of the world around us.

This course only cemented my disdain for economics and capitalism. I wish this wasn't a requirement for everything lord have mercy.

Lots of econ, lots of things I never knew before

The foundations of economics - and how to apply it moving forward.

I learned a lot about how to think about economics --- to approach problems from multiple different perspectives and to be more analytical instead of just rushing to conclusions. Kenny was instrumental to developing my critical thinking skill, perhaps even more than any other course I've taken at Columbia.

I learned the basics of economics -- micro and macro and learned how to apply them to the real world.

Both basic levels of macro and microeconomics as well as their application in the real world.
