This course gave an overview of the different dimensions of inequality in the United States. I learned a lot about current research on inequality and potential policy solutions. This class also helped me practice my presentation skills because each student was required to present material three times over the course of the semester.
I learned a lot about the systems of inequality in the United States today and the way the United States minority groups of people.
The course material covered a wide array of information pertaining to wealth and inequality. After taking this course I feel like I'm able to speak more confidently in and outside of an academic setting about the subject matter.
I would recommend this course if you're interested in learning about dimensions of inequality, and if you don't mind being in a very student-led seminar where it seems the professor is minimally involved in presenting material.

I learned how inequality is pervasive throughout different levels of society, where it manifests, and the ways it has been affected. We looked both historically and contemporarily at the different ways that poverty and mobility have been analyzed and discussed possible fixes or ideas.
