All about the organization of different structures in society

I learned a lot this was such an enlightening class and challenged me to think about the world differently than my other sociology classes have.

I think this course was incredible from a content perspective. However, with the disruption of the strike, I would not recommend taking it. The professor cancelled classes when the strike first started, and I have no idea what my grade is in the class (one midterm and one final research paper). The professor has repeatedly stated that the TAs will grade "when they are back from strike" and has not followed up with a backup plan. If you want to learn from a teacher, look for another class.

Good course to take if you are a sociology major or pursuing the business concentration or both (most of the students who took the class were pursuing either or both of those fields). If you're looking for a TED-talk-like course filled with creative and alternative ways of lectures (i.e. silent lectures, debates, student presentations, etc.) then this course is for you.
