Provided opportunity to set aside time for field work.
This was basically self-study course (giving time for students to regularly invest time in progressing with their theses)
This has nothing to do with Denise or the course, but I am putting on all my course evaluations that the course was negatively impacted by the strike and the unwillingness of the university with its billions of dollars in endowment to support graduate workers.
