Overall, I would recommend this course to another student especially if they grew up in a Punjabi household or Punjabi-speaking household. Most of the content is geared towards heritage speakers, so while I would still recommend the course for non-heritage speakers, I would let them know that they may need to do some additional work.

In this course, I developed a better understanding of Punjabi language and culture, improving my language skills and appreciating the rich history and traditions of Punjab. I also gained a new perspective on how language helps preserve cultural identity and build community, which has been both enlightening and personally meaningful.

In this course, I gained a deep understanding of Punjabi culture and even presented on the topic. We engaged in extensive reading, expanded our vocabulary, and were regularly quizzed. We practiced speaking Punjabi through numerous conversations with classmates. Additionally, we honed our skills in writing stories, plays, dialogues, and conducting interview exercises in Punjabi.
