I learned the alphabet, dates, numbers, pronouns, verbs, months, seasons, and body parts in Bangla.

I learned how to read and write Bangla. We learned the vowels and letters/phonemes that make up the Bangla language, numbers, colors, body parts, basic vocabulary, months, seasons, days of the week, telling time, syntax, etc. We also learned how to conjugate verbs (i, you, you formal, he/she, he/her formal, him/her, they, etc.). Not only did we learn the skills required to read, write and speak Bangla, but we also learned a lot of the history behind it as the professor would give us tidbits of cultural facts, norms, comparisons between Kolkata/Dhaka/Syhletti/Noakali bangla, etc.

An elementary level of reading and sentence structure.

I loved this course. If anyone who speaks Bangla wants to learn how to read and write Bangla, this course is definitely for you! I can't say the same for non-Bangla speakers, but the professor is super helpful and understanding.
