Approaches to physics problems we needed to know for the exams
I learned a lot about how objects move and the forces that act on them.
It's required to take the recitation. I would recommend going because it often gives you extra credit.
Good examples of the types of problems that would be on the tests so come review/study time going over problem sets from rec is super useful.
Extra practice with physics problems and more emphasis on the connectedness of physical situations and equations.
Relative velocity, kinematics, forces, work & energy, center of mass, collisions/momentum, rotational basics, angular momentum, statics.
learned to apply lecture to practice- work with groups to strategize how to answer/approach questions and learn how to read problems
if Physics is a requirement for your major then you have to take it, otherwise I don't know why you would want to take this.
Extra practice is critical to understanding physics, practice practice practice.
I would personally say to only take physics if it is a required course in your studies. It is not an easy A science class.
